The Raiders spent real capital to be 74 picks early on Kalil Alexander, and the board is going to hold them to it. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

They have staked the next five years on Fernando Mendoza, which is the only story that really matters here. That is a cornerback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.
