More right than wrong for the Bills, and a B to prove it.

The Bills spent real capital to be 45 picks early on Kalil Alexander, and the board is going to hold them to it. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

Miller at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.

Pick Analysis
Pick24 Rnd1 Arvell Reese
In Round 1, Pick 24 they get a three-down second-level presence, outstanding value to boot. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick56 Rnd2 Ja'Kobi Lane
Ja'Kobi Lane slid further than he should have, and pick 56 is lovely value for the wide receiver. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick88 Rnd3 Adon Shuler
Adon Shuler in pick No. 88 is the kind of reach that only looks good if he outplays it. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick124 Rnd4 Tim Keenan III
Tim Keenan III at slot 124 is the kind of overdraft that needs everything to break right. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick162 Rnd5 Blake Miller
Taking Blake Miller in the Round 5 slot is close to grand larceny; an offensive lineman that good had no business lasting this long. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick220 Rnd7 Kalil Alexander
Kalil Alexander in No. 220 is a reach so steep the board needed a second look to believe it. It fills a real need, too.
Pick228 Rnd7 Thaddeus Dixon
Thaddeus Dixon at the 228th overall pick is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
