A sensible, unshowy class lands the Buccaneers a B-.

For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Buccaneers walked out of the weekend still thin at interior defensive lineman, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

Every board in the league had Lawrence lower, and that gap is the story. They banked enough surplus on Klare to cover a lot of smaller sins.

Tight end was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
