The trade table was a mismatch, and the Giants were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value.

Landing Daniels that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it.

If Wilson pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. The Giants paired the rookies with proven help, Mike McGlinchey leading the way.

Bottom line, they did the job about as well as it can be done.
