The Giants did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Drew Allar fell into Round 6, Pick 13.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. They will need Igbinosun to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The interior defensive lineman spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

In the end it comes back to Caleb Downs, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
