The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Commanders reached some 63 spots for Da'Shawn Womack, and value like that does not grow back. No fireworks, but a solid B.

For all the activity, tight end went untouched, which is hard to explain. They banked enough surplus on Jackson to cover a lot of smaller sins. The trades cost them a sliver of value they did not need to spend.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the tight end spot they never got to.
