Call it larceny. Darian Mensah sat on the board until No. 208, and the Chiefs did not need to be asked twice.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped offensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. Reaching for Trigg left real value on the table behind him. They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
