The Dolphins bet the future on Mendoza. The board says D. Boards are made to be trusted, and the Dolphins shredded theirs for Derrick Moore. He came off 43 spots early, and the room will hear about it. The process wobbled, and the D is where it lands.
The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. Fernando Mendoza is the bet, and the class will be judged on how it pays off.
A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want. The Ponds pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with interior defensive lineman and tight end still on the board.
If one pick saves this weekend, it is Cooper Jr..
