This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Xavier Restrepo, the No. 49 name on the board, stolen at the 216th overall pick. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

The whole projection now runs through Cam Ward; hit there and everything else looks smarter. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
