The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Raiders watched Smael Mondon Jr. slide 65 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. It grades a D-, and the process earned it.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. They have staked the next five years on Shedeur Sanders, which is the only story that really matters here. The Williams pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.

A whole weekend of picks and tight end is somehow still a want. The bill for those future picks comes due whether the class hits or not.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and tight end is still a hole.
