There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Vikings started one anyway for Jasheen Davis, 160 picks ahead of schedule.
For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. However the rest shakes out, Judkins at that price is a win they earned.
If Kaleb Johnson and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.

In the Round 1 slot they get a centerpiece for the ground game, though they paid up to get him.
You do not let a running back like Quinshon Judkins reach No. 97 and blink. They did not. It fills a real need, too.
They reached into another round for Cobee Bryant, and the board is nowhere close to agreeing. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
A wild overpay on Jasheen Davis in pick 163, the sort that defines a class for the wrong reasons. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
