The real work happened on the phones. The Eagles fleeced their trade partners, turning their picks into a noticeably bigger pile than they started with. The board rewarded a patient, disciplined weekend with a A-.
They will regret leaving cornerback for another day if the season turns on it. The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.
