If confidence were a draft strategy, the Raiders would have aced it. Amari Kight at pick 179 is 66 spots clear of where he belonged.

Taaffe at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close.

Everything downstream of Shedeur Sanders depends on Shedeur Sanders, and the building knows it. They punted on tight end, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, tight end very much included.
