There is conviction, and then there is this. The Vikings took Jordan Jefferson a full 65 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend.
They have staked the next five years on Jayden Daniels, which is the only story that really matters here. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took McMillan. The tight end hole is the one line item this class does not answer.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the tight end spot they never got to.
Pick-by-Pick
In slot 12 they get their guy under center for the next decade at fair value. Exactly the need they had to hit.
