The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Vikings watched Theo Wease slide 35 picks past his grade and did not hesitate.
If Smith pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. That running back hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.
The dealing nudged the ledger their way without much fuss.
