Somebody in pick No. 138 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Vikings sat still while Quinshon Judkins, the No. 69 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.
For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. The Bryant reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade.
A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick 24 they get a two-high chess piece at a price that makes it sweeter. The biggest hole, addressed.
Good things come to war rooms that wait, and Dylan Fairchild at slot 97 is the proof. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Quinshon Judkins at No. 138 is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
They reached into another round for Cobee Bryant, and the board is nowhere close to agreeing. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
