Call it larceny. Kaleb Johnson sat on the board until pick No. 97, and the Vikings did not need to be asked twice. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.
The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. On the needs board they went 3 of 8, with offensive lineman the one that mattered most.
Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.

In pick 24 they get a run-stuffing presence up front. A clean fit for the roster.

Jake Majors at slot 140 is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
