After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Vikings committed. Jayden Daniels is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline.
If one pick saves this weekend, it is Jones. They will regret leaving safety for another day if the season turns on it. Reaching for Sweat left real value on the table behind him.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the safety spot they never got to.
