Nothing loud, just a tidy B- for the Vikings.

They will call it conviction in the building and a reach everywhere else: Cody Schrader, 37 picks early at No. 179.
The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The roster is better shaped than it was, with quarterback chief among the fixes. The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.
Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick No. 12 they get a potential shutdown corner. More want than need.
They paid sticker price for Jeremiah Trotter Jr. in the 44th overall pick, and that is fine. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
Tate Ratledge at pick 112 nudges the ledger their way without any fuss. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
They jumped the gun on Cade Stover, taking him earlier than his grade liked. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
A conviction pick on Jordan Travis at the 149th pick that the board grades a round light. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
They reached a country mile for T.J. Sanders at No. 162, and the board is aghast. It fills a real need, too.
Ricky White at pick 165 is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. A need, and now a little less of one.
Value said wait; Cody Schrader in the 179th pick says they were not listening. The roster fit checks out.
A real head-scratcher, AJ Barner in No. 233 is miles ahead of his ranking. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
