The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Vikings spent their marquee pick on J.J. McCarthy, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback.

If Okie-Anoma pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. That Barrett pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

The wide receiver spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
