The Vikings spent the pick that matters most on Jayden Daniels, and a roster that has been waiting on a passer can start to take shape.

However the rest shakes out, Goncalves at that price is a win they earned. It is not that Abrams-Draine is a bad player; it is that the Vikings had louder needs to answer first.

For all the activity, wide receiver went untouched, which is hard to explain.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the wide receiver spot they never got to.
