Thirty-one other rooms let Rylie Mills slide, and the Raiders were the ones holding the card at Round 7, Pick 13. Highway robbery. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.
The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. They were the ones paying the moving tax this weekend.
Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick 13 they get a lockdown presence outside, outstanding value to boot. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
They robbed the room for Princely Umanmielen here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Somehow Xavier Restrepo was still sitting there in the 109th pick, and they pounced on premier wide receiver value. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Joshua Gray at the Round 5 slot is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
They barely believed it either: Jason Henderson still on the board at the 173rd overall pick. A minor itch, scratched.
Rylie Mills in No. 205 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
