Of all the ways to open, the Cardinals chose the head-scratcher, spending slot 133 on Cam Hart with quarterback, running back and other spots still wide open. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.
They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. If Fiske pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 4th pick they get a difference-maker at receiver. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
In pick 26 they get a cornerstone up front at fair value. The biggest hole, addressed.
Chris Braswell at pick No. 35 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
