When the story of this class is written, it opens with Paris Shand at the 223rd overall pick, a reach of 68 spots that the board flatly disagrees with.
On value alone, Carter makes the weekend a net positive. They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast.
They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.
Bottom line, with Ashton Jeanty leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.

Circle this one: Luther Burden III at No. 44 is a fall that decides a draft. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
They robbed the room for Jalon Walker here, a fall nobody at the table saw coming. A minor need, but a need all the same.
