The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Raiders spent their marquee pick on J.J. McCarthy, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback.
They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.
The Guyton pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.

In the Round 1 slot they get the face of the franchise, even if it was a touch early. A real need, handled.
Tyler Guyton slipping to No. 44 is the kind of luck good rooms make for themselves. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
No drama and no debate, Michael Hall Jr. went about where he belonged in the 77th pick. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
