There is a lot to like until you notice quarterback is still a hole. The Cardinals never got to the one that mattered most.
However the rest shakes out, Newton at that price is a win they earned. They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
