The board owed the Raiders one, and it paid up: Kalel Mullings, the No. 113 name on the board, sitting there at pick No. 180 like a gift left on the doorstep. One of the weekend's best, top to bottom, and a A to show for it.

The cost of the Hemingway reach is exactly the players who went right after him. The phones were where this weekend was really won.

The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

In the end it comes back to Jahdae Barron, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
