When a board-topper like Jayden Higgins slides to pick No. 144, you do not overthink it, and the Raiders did not. Hard to defend, and the D reflects that.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. The Winston Jr. pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at edge rusher and tight end. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Porter has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

A rough weekend that leaves the roster with more questions than answers.
