The Raiders did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Nick Nash fell into pick 182. It lands right in the middle: a C+, no more, no less.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. They will need Smith to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

A perfectly average weekend, for better and for worse.
