The Raiders did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Brashard Smith fell into pick No. 222.

The Howard reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. It is not that Campbell is a bad player; it is that the Raiders had louder needs to answer first.

They will regret leaving tight end for another day if the season turns on it.

Add it up and this is about as clean as a draft weekend gets.
