There is a lot to like until you notice safety is still a hole. The Vikings never got to the one that mattered most. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.
The roster is better shaped than it was, with quarterback chief among the fixes. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but safety.
Pick-by-Pick
By-the-book stuff, Bralen Trice at Round 1, Pick 20 squarely in line with his ranking. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
They took Jermaine Burton at par in the 52nd overall pick, which is nothing to complain about. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
A straight-up fair deal on Spencer Rattler at pick No. 120, value and slot in agreement. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
