Somebody took the Vikings to the cleaners. The deals they made bled real value, and the whole class wears it. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.
The Lewis steal is the beam this whole class leans on. A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
Pick-by-Pick
Jonah Elliss in slot 52 is fine work, a shade of surplus and no downside. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Nothing to complain about; Jason Marshall Jr. went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
They did well to land Jack Nelson in pick 157, just ahead of his grade. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
No drama and no debate, Dallin Holker went about where he belonged in the Round 5 slot. A need, and now a little less of one.
Ray Davis at No. 168 is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Value with a capital V on Moose Muhammad III in the 179th pick, a genuine coup. The roster fit checks out.
Robert Lewis in slot 241 is a gift, value that borders on unfair. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
