Boards are made to be trusted, and the Eagles shredded theirs for Luke McCaffrey. He came off 54 spots early, and the room will hear about it.

Spending an early pick on linebacker with safety, quarterback and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. The safety spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

Landing Newton that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
