You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Raiders did exactly that with Dayon Hayes in pick No. 214. It nets out to a B-, which feels about right.

The whole projection now runs through Shedeur Sanders; hit there and everything else looks smarter. If one pick saves this weekend, it is Gabriel.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
