Boards are made to be trusted, and the Raiders shredded theirs for Spencer Rattler. He came off 83 spots early, and the room will hear about it.
That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. They reloaded the coverage unit in bulk.
Nothing gained and nothing lost at the table.
If Terrion Arnold and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick 13 they get an island corner at fair value. The biggest hole, addressed.
Spencer Rattler at the 34th overall pick is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Roger Rosengarten in the Round 3 slot is a reach so steep the board needed a second look to believe it. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
