The phones were a trap the Raiders kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal.

Jayden Daniels gives the offense a face and a plan, and the grade leans heavily on whether he hits. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

That is a wide receiver worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. The bill for those future picks comes due whether the class hits or not.

There is no soft landing here: they fought the board and left edge rusher open, and the grade is the bill.
