Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Raiders spent the 105th pick on Benjamin Morrison, a name most had 37 spots down the list. The math is unkind, and the D- follows.

If one pick saves this weekend, it is Klubnik. Whatever Shedeur Sanders becomes, the front office has tied its fortunes to the answer.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, edge rusher very much included.
