The Raiders ran the phones like sharks, prying loose value on deal after deal until the ledger was lopsided.
The Zinter pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. The Rosemy-Jacksaint pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.
Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.

In Round 1, Pick 17 they get a lockdown presence outside at fair value. The biggest hole, addressed.
In the Round 1 slot they get a long-term starter on the line. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
A market-rate linebacker, with the board and the slot shaking hands on Jeremiah Trotter Jr.. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
They left a pile of value on the table to take Zak Zinter this early at slot 77. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
A clean, defensible pick in the 112th pick with a little surplus value in Braelon Allen. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
