The trade table was where it all came apart. The Cardinals shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill.
For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game. They went 1 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.
A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
