The board owed the Vikings one, and it paid up: Malaki Starks, the No. 12 name on the board, sitting there at the 97th overall pick like a gift left on the doorstep.
Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Safety is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
