Las Vegas Raiders

The Raiders won the night they stopped Milum from sliding. Grade: A.

You could see the war room lean forward. Wyatt Milum at Round 6, Pick 37 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. They will regret leaving tight end for another day if the season turns on it.

The Darnell Mooney deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.

Few war rooms will sleep better than this one tonight.

Pick-by-Pick

R1.6 · Pick 6 · Travis Hunter · CB · rank 1
In No. 6 they get a potential shutdown corner at fair value. The biggest hole, addressed.
R3.4 · Pick 68 · Cam Ward · QB · rank 7
Cam Ward in Round 3, Pick 4 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
R3.9 · Pick 73 · Ashton Jeanty · RB · rank 2
Ashton Jeanty at pick 73 is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. The roster fit checks out.
R4.5 · Pick 106 · Malaki Starks · S · rank 14
They will replay Malaki Starks at the 106th pick for years; that is how good the value is. A minor need, but a need all the same.
R5.5 · Pick 142 · Walter Nolen · DT · rank 21
Walter Nolen at the Round 5 slot is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
R6.3 · Pick 178 · Tre Harris · WR · rank 31
Tre Harris in slot 178 is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
R6.37 · Pick 212 · Wyatt Milum · OT · rank 26
Wyatt Milum at the 212th overall pick is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
R6.41 · Pick 216 · Jihaad Campbell · LB · rank 38
They barely believed it either: Jihaad Campbell still on the board at pick No. 216. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
R7.6 · Pick 222 · Josaiah Stewart · DE-EDGE · rank 56
Steal is underselling it; Josaiah Stewart at the 222nd overall pick is a heist with the alarm still ringing. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
