Daniels is the plan now, and the Raiders grade out a B.

After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Raiders committed. Jayden Daniels is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline.

That is a running back worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. The dealing alone would carry a lesser class.

A whole weekend of picks and cornerback is somehow still a want. Reaching for Henderson left real value on the table behind him.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.

Pick-by-Pick

R1.8 · Pick 8 · Jayden Daniels · QB · rank 7
In the 8th pick they get their quarterback of the future. A clean fit for the roster.
R2.12 · Pick 44 · Ricky Pearsall · WR · rank 58
A conviction pick on Ricky Pearsall at pick No. 44 that the board grades a round light. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
R4.11 · Pick 111 · Renardo Green · S · rank 112
Renardo Green at No. 111 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
R5.11 · Pick 147 · Roger Rosengarten · OT · rank 146
No edge and no loss on Roger Rosengarten in the Round 5 slot; it is a wash and a sensible one. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
R6.32 · Pick 207 · Myles Cole · DE-EDGE · rank 223
They paid a round early for Myles Cole in pick 207, more than the board wanted. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
R7.3 · Pick 223 · Kendall Milton · RB · rank 190
They barely believed it either: Kendall Milton still on the board at slot 223. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
R7.9 · Pick 229 · LaDarius Henderson · OT · rank 246
They liked LaDarius Henderson enough to skip the value, taking him in the 229th overall pick. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
