The trade table was a mismatch, and the Raiders were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.
A whole weekend of picks and edge rusher is somehow still a want. The cost of the Milroe reach is exactly the players who went right after him. They banked enough surplus on Starks to cover a lot of smaller sins.
Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
Pick-by-Pick
In slot 6 they get an every-down engine for the run game. A clean fit for the roster.
They stopped a slide they were happy to see, landing Malaki Starks in the Round 2 slot. A minor itch, scratched.
Jalen Milroe in pick 73 is a reach so steep the board needed a second look to believe it. A need, and now a little less of one.
