Somebody in No. 222 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Raiders sat still while Lander Barton, the No. 128 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. The sum of the weekend is a deserved A-.

Everything downstream of Cam Ward depends on Cam Ward, and the building knows it. Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck.

They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. They will need Roberts to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

Bottom line, they left the weekend a clearly better team, and they earned every bit of it.
