You could see the war room lean forward. Bo Nix at pick 44 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.
They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. Every board in the league had Henderson lower, and that gap is the story. They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 13th overall pick they get a lockdown presence outside. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Somehow Bo Nix was still sitting there in pick 44, and they pounced on premier quarterback value. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Nothing to complain about; Rod Moore went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
