The Raiders ran the phones like sharks, prying loose value on deal after deal until the ledger was lopsided.
On value alone, Judkins makes the weekend a net positive. They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Spend now, pay later; the math only works if this class delivers.
They trusted the board more than the depth chart.
A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
Pick-by-Pick
In the Round 1 slot they get a ballhawk on the outside. The biggest hole, addressed.
In pick No. 16 they get a plug-and-play piece up front at a price that makes it sweeter. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
The board had Jalen Milroe higher than slot 49, and the quarterback fell to them anyway. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
A top-tier running back at a bargain, Quinshon Judkins in pick 51, plain and simple. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
