It is the swing that defines the weekend: Andrew Raym in Round 5, Pick 15, a good 89 spots before the room expected him.
Everything downstream of Jayden Daniels depends on Jayden Daniels, and the building knows it. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer.
Arnold falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
Pick-by-Pick
In the Round 1 slot they get a franchise quarterback. A real need, handled.
You do not let a cornerback like Terrion Arnold reach slot 46 and blink. They did not. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
T.J. Sanders at pick No. 78 is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for Miles Frazier. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
A big swing on Andrew Raym at the 151st overall pick, well ahead of any board in the building. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Curtis Jacobs in No. 192 is the kind of reach that only looks good if he outplays it. A minor need, but a need all the same.
