This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Jake Majors, the No. 97 name on the board, stolen at the 138th pick. The sum of the weekend is a deserved A.
They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. The cornerback hole is the one line item this class does not answer.
The Raiders paired the rookies with proven help, Denzel Ward leading the way.
Trust the process, because this time the process plainly worked.
Pick-by-Pick
In slot 8 they get a pocket-collapsing interior rusher. A real need, handled.
Emeka Egbuka at No. 34 is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
They will replay Jihaad Campbell at pick 65 for years; that is how good the value is. It adds depth where they could use a little.
Steal is underselling it; Mike Green at Round 3, Pick 5 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
A running back of that caliber at the 70th overall pick is the definition of value, full stop. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
The board fumbled Malachi Moore all the way to the 103rd pick, and they scooped it up. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
You do not let an offensive lineman like Jake Majors reach pick No. 138 and blink. They did not. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
