Start where it matters. The Raiders took Cam Ward to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

That is a wide receiver worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
