When a board-topper like Kurtis Rourke slides to the 214th pick, you do not overthink it, and the Raiders did not. No fireworks, but a solid B.
Reaching for Vinson left real value on the table behind him. The tight end hole is the one line item this class does not answer.
Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. The offense got the lion's share of the attention.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but tight end.

In No. 12 they get a matchup problem out wide. The biggest hole, addressed.
Kenneth Grant slid further than he should have, and slot 37 is lovely value for the interior defensive lineman. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
TreVeyon Henderson at the 44th pick is a conviction pick that outran the value. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
A real head-scratcher, Jordan Burch in pick No. 68 is miles ahead of his ranking. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Denzel Burke in Round 3, Pick 36 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
A top-tier safety at a bargain, Kevin Winston Jr. in pick 122, plain and simple. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
They talked themselves into Carson Vinson at the 182nd overall pick, and the board did not agree. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Kurtis Rourke at the Round 6 slot is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
